Following ophthalmologist recommendations, the eye mask automatically switches off after 13 minutes to help provide a comfortable experience and prevent overheating.

The THERMRUP Far-Infrared Eye Mask is intentionally designed to provide gentle far-infrared warmth rather than intense surface heat like conventional heating wires. As a result, the warmth may feel less “hot,” while still providing a soothing and comfortable warming experience.

For safety, the temperature is limited to 40–50°C (104–122°F), providing gentle heat for use around the sensitive eye area.

Why Is There a Small Gap Between the Heating Surface and the Eyes?

The small gap between the heating surface and the eyes is intentional by design. It prevents the heat source from resting directly against the sensitive eyelids, helping to reduce excessive direct heat exposure.

This design allows the warmth to be transferred more gently and evenly. At the same time, the space provides room for the far-infrared (FIR) warmth to be delivered comfortably, helping create a safe and pleasant warming experience.
